Tab Journal is proud to nominate the following poems for the Monarch Queer Literary Awards:
“You Are the Center of the Universe” by Allison Blevins
“Harvest Moon” by Sophia Terazawa
“The Wanderer / The Tourist” by Cela Xié
All three poems appeared in the special print issue to launch Volume 12 and are available online in the Archives for 2025.
“Monarch Queer Literary Awards is a new annual anthology recognizing the best new queer writing and art published by literary magazines and independent presses.” The anthology will be published in print and online in Spring 2026. Fingers crossed that the editors there find these three poems as amazing as we did!
